Whatever happens happens. Not stuttering, lol. Some seedlings are the same weigh. I'm pretty sure that aboveground is dictated by underground and think about the seed...1694...and grower...Geddes...Whoooaaahhhh, correct? G'luck!---eric g

I dont know the answer... I guess it depends on your goal, but I think the slow and steady ones can perform well. A faster one might perform better... or it might split. At some point, just love the one you're with as the saying goes.

I love growing vicariously, I guess it's called, through you and other growers in our 'off season'. I suppose that in my experience, a later set on the same vine will be less likely to abort than a previous one - I tried to do this once and the previous, ongoing two DID abort. An earlier one acts as a 'power absorber' for a later one, so, lean toward culling the previous one if everything is okay with the later and either gets to be of let's say basketball size. In re-reading, that makes perfect sense, lol. My nickel's worth - eric g
