I know my 4-gallon Roundup backpack won't be recommended for an area so large compared to mine of about 1/4 that size, but one product I can't WAIT to try is that of a water-soluble marker DYE that can show me better where I have sprayed or not; One was called 'DynaMark' at I believe Tractor Supply and another is 'Mark It' or similar at Home Depot. Mentioning it purely since this product exists and will help ME and if anyone else can use it, it's out there---eg

If you can afford it I highly reccommend having separate sprayers one for herbicide and one for insecticides and fungicides.

I agree with big moon, unwise to use same sprayer for herbicides & pesticides. Also, you generally need coarse droplet nozzles for herbicides to avoid spray drift, whilst fine nozzles to get good coverage and penetration of foliage for pesticides. Probably sufficient to use a knapsack sprayer for weed killer. A boom sprayer on an atv will give reasonable coverage for cheap cost. I have a pto driven orchard sprayer on the back of a mini tractor, gives a really good blast into the foliage and very fast application rate. Really depends on what kit you have to power it!

I have a 25 gallon ATV sprayer I use to weed kill fence row that has about 20 acres fenced in. I have to refill it twice to make it the whole way around. It has the gun sprayer and also a broadcast sprayer (boomless) that shoots out either side of the ATV. I think the broadcaster would work well for you. Just not sure how many refills you'd need.
