Congratulations to the Ohio Valley Giant Pumpkin Growers who set a new World Record for Top Ten Average at 2203 pounds. Even more impressive, they did it without matching T-shirts.

3) Werner 2369.5
4) Hoornstra 2226.5
5) Wolf 2225.5
6) King 2036.5
7) Kent 2029
8) Rose 1983.5
9) Lenart 1982
10) Brady 1777

But does it really count if you don't have the T-shirts?
Congrats to everyone involved.

Congrats OVGPG!
What a year for Stelts! Almost a world record. And Werner is always a top contender.

Poor Andy... a 2225.5 lb pumpkin is only good enough for 5th place? And the 2670 Thompson must be a record for 2nd place!!

Awesome congratulations everyone! Do the pumpkins stay on display at Canfield or go home? I'm passing through there tomorrow.

The 2670 is still here tucked away in the warehouse. It’s going to the NY botanical gardens but haven’t heard when they are picking it up yet. I could set up a private viewing!

Thank you for the offer sir. Looks like I'll be coming through a lot later than I expected. Maybe next year I'll just come to the weighoff.

Oh those Ohio boys really know how to put on a show.... to see a 2731 and a half pound pumpkin in person was really something. Not sure what was bigger the pumpkin or Carol and Dave smiles. My cousin snapped a picture when the number was revealed, rest assured the crowd was not the only ones surprised by another heavy Don Barron seed.. every pumpkin in the top ten was amazing. The Ohio growers worked seamlessly in a delicate ballet of dangling squash. Hats off wondeful women and gentlemen who pulled it off. Too many names to list, rest assured some of the biggest in the world of gourds. The list epitomizes heavy hitters. Congratulations to all of the team and growers.
