PNWGPG Internet Auction 2004

Pacific NorthWest Giant Pumpkin Growers
Second Annual Internet Auction January 3, 2004
BigPumpkins.com Chat Room 8 pm(EST) 5 pm(PST)

Fellow Pumpkin Growers,
For the second time in our history, the PNWGPG organization is going to have an internet seed auction. This auction will include many of the most desired AG seeds. We have included not only recent Champions, but the Classic seeds of old. Some of these seeds may never be offered again.

We have received permission from the Dill family to hold this internet auction using their Dills Atlantic Giant (PPV) seed. We appreciate their willingness to allow us to receive the profit to pay for our club's various activities. Additional products from the Dill family can be found at HowardDill.com.

We will do our utmost to see that the auction goes smoothly and speedily so that we can conclude in two hours. When bidding, please use the "LOT #" everytime along with the bid amount to minimize confusion should the Chat Room postings run slower than usual. If the bidding slows, the moderator will post the highest bid and then ask for additional bids. The moderator will then post, "Going once" and wait ten seconds. "Going twice" and wait ten second......then, "SOLD". Should the BP.com site "go down", the conclusion of the auction will be the following Saturday night (10th), beginning at the same time.

Terms of Sale:

  1. Payment should be sent to: PNWGPG, PO Box 7504, Covington, WA 98042
  2. Money orders are the preferred form of payment. Personal checks will be held for a minimum 2 weeks wait period.
  3. Seeds will be shipped will require a signature at delivery. Hence, we cannot ship to a PO box.
  4. The PNWGPG cannot guarantee the germination of any of the seed. To our knowledge, all of the seeds appear to be "solid seed". All sales are final.

There will be one seed in each envelope unless specifically mentioned. We want everybody to have fun on the 3rd! In order to spread the fun, no one person may purchase more than four lots.

It is imperative that each bidder print these pages and keep them handy the evening of the auction as the individual seeds in each Lot will not be announced as the bidding begins. One will also be able to check off the Seed Lots as they are completed.
