First Annual Internet Seed Auction

The NEPGA will be hosting there first ever Internet Seed Auction. Many new and old World Class Atlantic Giant seeds will be auctioned. Many of the seeds have never been made available on the auction block before, and may never be made available again.

A huge thanks goes out to the Dill Family for allowing one of the nations top Pumpkin organizations, the NEPGA to conduct this years seed auction. All proceeds obtained will be used in streghthening our mission in promoting the hobby of growing Atlantic Giants.

It is our intention to make this first time auction run smoothly. Therefore, when bidding, please indicate the lot # everytime along with the bidding amount. If the bidding slows, the moderator will post the highest bid and then ask for additional bids. Going once, 10 seconds, going twice 10 seconds� then SOLD!! We suggest printing this page and keeping it handy the evening of the auction. This will make following and checking off the seed lots easier as the auction progresses. Also in order to help spread the fun, no one person may purchase more than four lots.

Terms of sale:

  1. Money Orders preferred, any personal checks will be held for 2 weeks before seeds are mailed. Payments are to be made out to NEPGA.
  2. Payments are to be mailed to: Jim Kuhn-NEPGA 116 Normand Road, Goffstown, NH 03045
  3. Seeds will be shipped Priority mail and will require a signature at delivery.
  4. The NEPGA can not guarantee the germination of seeds shipped. To our knowledge, all of the seeds appear to be solid seeds, and all sales are final.

  This seed is in great demand. It grew the Hebb 1215-02, a new Canadian record. It also grew two over 1000 lbs., and eight over 700 lbs.

  New Canadian Record. This pumpkin only had 18 viable seeds, so this may be the only time you will see it offered, especially with the 875 Dill.
 
2. Checkon 815-98 Anderson 977 x Lloyd 935
  This seed grew the Checkon 1190-99, and five over 700 lbs.

  Chosen to be the BigPumpkins.com "seed of the year" and the new CT state record.

  This seed grew the Mettler 974 and the Mettler 937, plus five over 700 lbs.
 
3. Mombert 940-98 Mombert 866 x Mombert 567
  Grew the 2001 World Record 1262, Many 700, 800, & 900 pounders.
 
4. Bobier 723-99 Lloyd 935 x Mettler 865
  Needs little introduction! 4 pumpkins over 1100 lbs, 15 over 1000 lbs, and 52 over 700 lbs. This seed is becoming scarcer by the day� Could be your last chance to get one!
 
5. Kuhn 1020-01 Kuhn 712 x Stelts 801
  First year out this seed produced two over 800 lbs, and two over 700 lbs. All weighed very heavy�

  First year out produced a beautiful 900 lb. plus and one over 800 lbs. Very orange offspring!

  Has produced a 1049, and one over 900 lbs. A big demand seed for 2003.

  Has produced 700, 800, and one over 900!

  First year out of the gates it produced the second largest pumpkin in the GPC, the Whittier 1186. (word has it Bruce was one of the only people to try this seed in 2002) Not a bad track Record!!
 
8. Kuhn 712-00 Lloyd 935 x Eaton 780
  This seed has produced 4 over 1000 lbs, 2 over 900 lbs, 8 over 800 lbs, and two over 700 lbs. Most weighing well over the charts. Was also the pollen donor for the World Record Houghton 1337.6 2002

  Produced a 1058 pounder!

  Has produced 2 over 900 lbs and nine 700 - 800 lbs.

  Has produced the Emmons 1144-01, seven over 800 lbs, and 4 over 700 lbs, including the famous 790 Daletas.
  Holland 1026-00 Holland 903 x Lloyd 935
  This seed was the first 1000 lb seed to produce another 1000 lb offspring.
 
11. Rose 960-01 Bobier 723 x Stelts 801
  This seed produced a 979 and an 883 it's first year out.
  Wentzel 914-98 Greer 1006 x open
  Grew the Rivard 1062, Cox 1048, and many, many more.
 
12. Weir 1260-01 Bobier 845 x Calai 846
  This seed grew a 954, and a 709 that were well over the chart on it's first year out. Only 75 seeds were obtained from this pumpkin. Move Quick! May possibly be the only time you see it on the Auction block!

This is a Jim Kuhn favorite, he is predicting this to be a top seed for 2003, and it will grow many over-chart pumpkins.
