I usually start my gourds just after pumpkins? 4/20ish, as you know they take alot longer to start? Ive had later fruit sets grow much longer than the first ones? When do you start seeds, and is there a magic pollination date?

PC--I used to start AG seeds here in eastern Ontario on May 10 and I find May 20 about right for long gourds.
May 20 is in fact be a bit earlier than ideal but it gives time for a later batch if needed.
I find that July 25-Aug 5 is my best pollination zone.
