This year I have a lemon cucumber plant with a flat vine. I have been growing cukes for over 40 years and have never had this happen before.
Here is a link to my diary photo http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=67567
Has anyone ever seen a cucumber plant do this before ?

Its some type of mutation, flowers do this, I believe they call it a "sport". I believe it would be ok, just a freak of nature..
