2624 stem that splayed open a few days after transplanting. Grown tough and stable. Decided to bury it today on the advice of another grower a couple of weeks ago.
Also bought more Aluminet Shade Cloth to extend the wind break of the fence. Ecologic Technologies. Using 50% shade. Comes in 14� widths by any length. Cut the 14� in 3rds for almost 5� high wind break fencing. Very tough stuff � won�t rip. Deer won�t come anywhere near this stuff; ground hogs are indifferent. Trouble is that they have a minimum order size of $100 plus shipping ($18). That�s 14� x 25�. Well, it�s a once and done purchase. Disregard obvious typos on prior entry.
