getting ready to start my carrots this week, just cut these 4" pipes to 20" long. im going to try 3 different soil types to see witch one does best. one will be in pro mix only, one will be in compost only and the third one will be a 50-50 mix of compost and pro mix. also i plan to plant the seeds directly into these pots instead of transplanting them like last year. i hope to start my seeds by February 1. i still need to buy a separate light for these carrots
