Whoa baby, seeds arrived today, thanks Fred. Last year did everything right l, didnt figure on a foot of rain followed by more rain and diseased soil. Lots of snow and using a big ass greenhouse this season, cant wait.

2212 Chan tucked in for the night. A little cool here so the heater is helping out. Strongest plant by far.

Cat bird waiting for the insects to appear. These and many others chow down on many garden pests. I encourage birds at the cost of a few damaged leaves.

I have a very healthy 1743 Chan ready to go in this weekend when the weather takes a turn for the better. In the past I had plants in the ground by May 1st no matter what. Trying a different approach. The 1743 is fully hardened off but hasnt experienced the stress of being transplanted in cold soil.

This is one unhappy plant. We received 5 inches of rain and half the plant was submerged this morning. Well see if it makes it.
On the flip side my 1728 Chan is doing great in the greenhouse.
